Medical researchers and scientists from a broad range of disciplines are converging on the powerful relationship between an individual's gut flora/functioning of their metabolic system and their physical, spiritual and emotional well-being. Gut and Psychology Syndrome (GAPS™) is based upon the work of neurologist Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride, designed to specifically heal the gut/brain connection. Eileen was personally trained by Dr. Compbell-McBride to lead GAPS™ support groups.

The widespread epidemic of gut dysbiosis (leaky gut syndrome) and digestive disorders appears to impact many mood disorders. A combination of psychotherapy and a strict or modified GAPS™ program has been shown to be helpful with conditions such as OCD, addictions, anxiety, PMS, and chronic sleep disorders.
